At Theatre Charlotte, we are committed to making every guest’s visit as welcoming and comfortable as possible. As a 80+ year old theatre building originally constructed in 1941, some areas of our facility have physical limitations. Accessible Seating

We offer seating options for guests who transfer from a wheelchair to a theatre seat, as well as spaces where patrons may remain in their wheelchair during the performance. To reserve accessible seating, please contact the Box Office in advance.

Parking & Building Access

Our parking lot includes two accessible parking spaces with loading access. The main entrance and one theatre entrance are wheelchair accessible. If you would like assistance upon arrival, please contact us in advance or speak with a member of our front-of-house team when you arrive.

Restrooms

Please note that our lobby restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. If you require an accessible restroom during your visit, please notify our House Manager upon arrival so we may assist you.

Assisted Listening Devices

Theatre Charlotte offers assistive listening through AudioFetch, a free system that works with your smartphone and personal headphones or hearing aids.

Headphones are also available at the theatre free of charge. A driver’s license or valid ID is required as security for borrowed equipment.

To use AudioFetch:

  • Download the AudioFetch app before arriving: iOS | Android

  • Connect to our guest Wi-Fi network when you arrive (details available in the lobby)

  • Request assistance from our House Manager if needed

Service Animals

Guests attending with a service animal are encouraged to notify the Box Office when purchasing tickets so we can help identify the most comfortable seating location for you and your animal.
