A smash hit on Broadway and a perennial family favorite everywhere.

The musical version of Dickens’ “Oliver Twist” tells the story of a young orphan, Oliver Twist, who  runs away from an apprenticeship at an undertaker’s and is picked up hungry and tired in the streets of London by the Artful Dodger who leads him to Fagin’s den.  And there the adventure begins.

“Oliver” is a memorable musical, featuring songs such as “Food, Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” “It’s a Fine Life,” “Who Will Buy,” and the haunting “As Long As He Needs Me.”  A long running hit in both New York and London, the film version won an Academy Award as Best Movie.
