Grand Nights For Singing is an intimate cabaret series presented in Theatre Charlotte's lobby on select nights under the musical direction of Ryan Deal. An evening under the stars featuring Charlotte's biggest musical theatre stars, each cabaret will include vocal selections from a rarely produced known work and rarely performed songs composed for the theatre.

In this fourth installment of Theatre Charlotte's intimate cabaret series, Grand Nights For Singing, the city's brightest musical theatre stars will perform vocal selections from Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George" and rarely performed songs composed for the theatre 1980-2000 (including songs from "Dreamgirls," "Miss Saigon," "City of Angels," and "Jekyll & Hyde"), under the musical direction of Ryan Deal.
Performers include Bill Caswell, Pam Coffman, Carmen Coulter, Brittany Currie, Jordan Ellis, Andy Faulkenberry, Alexis Greer, Susan Gundersheim, Daniel Hoffman, Steven James, Marvin King, Chase Law, John Leonard, Amy McKay, Megan Midkiff, Christian Muller, Melissa Ohlman-Roberge, Megan Postle, Katie Riley, Kevin Roberge, Allison Snow Rhinehardt, and Vivian Tong.

Auditions for Theatre Charlotte's next installment of the cabaret series "Grand Nights For Singing" will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 12:00 pm (noon) at Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Road.
"Grand Nights For Singing 4" will include vocal selections from Stephen Sonheim's "Sunday in the Park with George" and songs from "Jekyll and Hyde," "Dreamgirls," "City of Angels" and "Miss Saigon." Please prepare a solo or duet from one of these shows. Bring the sheet music in the correct key.
You will be considered for any available number, not just your audition piece. We will be casting solos, duets, small group numbers and company ensemble numbers. Minimal rehearsal schedule will be between February 21 and March 6. The cabaret will be performed on Friday, March 7
