November and December Volunteer Opportunities:

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NESTUshers, Concessions, Will Call

We still have openings for Front of House volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to see this excellent show and help out Theatre Charlotte at the same time!  Volunteer opportunities are posted at www.handsoncharlotte.org.  If you have any questions about signing up, please contact me at nancy@theatrecharlotte.org.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL  – Ushers, Concessions, Will Call

Dates will be posted on Hands On Charlotte – www.handsoncharlotte.org – by November 10.  Be sure to sign up early and often!  The show runs December 9-18. 

A CHRISTMAS CAROL  – Crew

We are looking for four backstage crew, one light board operator, and one sound board operator for the run of A Christmas Carol.  Please review the schedule below and contact Chris at chris@theatrecharlotte.org if you are interested.  Crew members will be invited to a run through of the show to meet the cast and director before tech week.  Please note that the times listed are call times and are subject to change.

The theme for this month’s edition of the popular reading and performance series is People’s Choice!  Featuring Episode Two  of Little People, Big Lives, Vito Abate’s animated soap opera with Barbie dolls! Tickets are $5 at the door. 

Auditions for Doubt by John Patrick Shanley, directed by Gina Stewart         November 19, 1:00 pm and November 20, 7:00 pm  – (You need to attend only one of the two sessions.)  Performances are January 20 – February 5. Charlotte Film Society Presents:

A Screaming Man (Un homme qui crie)

Saturday, November 19, 7:30 pm.  Discussion after the film led by Kirsten Hemmy, Ph.D, Chair, Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Philosophy and Religion, Johnson C. Smith University.  $5 for Film Society members, $8 for non members (cash or check only, please).
